Whats a nasty rumor that became true?

Honestly I am just here because boredom is a bitch.
But here's a little rumor that become true. One time I was told my friend her mom left to a different country just so she could have 'peace'. Now I heard from neighbors where my friend lived (since I will go to her house) that she left because she pregnant with another man's baby since not to long ago she went to the same country for 'business affairs'.
Me and my friend were both kids, and we didn't really cared since it was rumors.
Turns out her mom has been going back and fourth to where we live and the country for her 'business affairs' for more than 10 years. Turns out her mom has two family, and her oldest isn't even my friend.

After that I didn't really know much since my friend had to get pulled out of school due to personal issues. But I did ask a neighbor saying that the dad kept the child and left the mother. But they told thats what they've heard so far.

It's not nasty, but damn having two family from different countries? Wtf (⊙…⊙ )
