....first of all, Ian WOULD NEVER stoop that low to fool Noah into thinking he has a chance with him. Second of all, what makes you think Ian did that on purpose to drag Noah BACk to his place when he had already broken up with him and they had NOT spoken for however long?!? If he DID really wanted to fuck an omega, any of them will do, why Noah??? And if he INDEED HAD wanted to fuck an omega, why did he mess around with betas for?!? Are you for fucking for real?!? He could have EASILY invited Noah back. Wtf would he need to be so sneaky and invited Noah back but dropping some god-damned suppressant?!. He has NOAH AT HIS BECK-AND-CALL. Did you not realize that Noah had invited himself over?!? No where did it say that he has to. He used the injector as an excuse to go see Ian "one last time" and happened to have shown up during Ian's heat. He invited himself. Nobody did. I guess you misread the chapter where that was going on in his head (ch. 9). And being so naive he had no clue that Ian was in heat, didn't run (well, since he probably thought he's a beta, and didn't use the VERY injector he had "brought back to Ian". Hilarious, isn't it?!?
And in WHICH comic did the alpha in rut ever stop to not have sex with an omega?!? Rarely, if ever, once they've succumbed to their sex hormones. Ian was shown to not be lucid. He was unaware he was mating with a beta who had now turned omega, did not KNOW he had marked him, and ofc none of them knew Noah had been impregnated. You DO realize that DoYoon only messes around w/ betas right?!? IF Noah had been a beta (and remainee a beta) he WOULD NOT have been affected by his pheromones. Ian had no shortage of admirers who are omegas. He COULD EASILY have one (or more) of them if he so wishes. He's at home rutting all-by-himself. He doesn't (I don't think) even have a sex partner to have sex with during his ruts. And if he doesn't want pheromone-induced sexual relationships, why would he call Noah over in such an underhanded way just to have sex with him when they've already broken up?! Ian may not be a great person for Noah, since he's not looking to have a serious relationship, but doesn't make him a desperate person to play such toxic games. Hilarious.
And yes, I've thought a great deal about why Ian had never come looking for Noah. Initially, they've broken up, so there's no need to. After having written a lengthy essay (which I shouldn't have to but because some ppl are really oblivious but yet called me dumb so like, have at it, just don't call me names) I have come to the conclusion that yes, at the time the mate-bond had been formed Ian was in no mood for serious relationships. Just look at the relationship he had with Noah. He had broken it off after seeing that Noah had been serious about it. Second of all, he avoided all omegas so he doesn't fall into the PRECISE predicament he is in now. The fact of the matter is that they were both victims of nature, born as alphas and omegas, subjected to sexual needs that are animalistic and beyond their control. Ian had ZERO control and almost ZERO lucidity during his rut, had NO IDEA Noah had been turned, possibly by his very own pheromones, and then forced Noah to go into heat, become receptive of his pheromones, and then marking and then impregnating him. I don't KNOW HOW you and those millions of other ppl can blame Ian for being a victim of fate. Hilarious. If you wanna blame anything, blame it on the oblivious omega who decides to present himself with an injector but didn't even know how to use or when to use it, yet showed up to an alpha's house during rut. Ofc he doesn't know the alpha was in rut and couldn't recognize the symptoms but then Ian hadn't expected Noah to come, unlike your hypothesis.
I was reading the recent chapter of this manhwa and oh boy. I am glad that both Korean comments as well as the international ones are collectively hating the seme. Coz the audacity really.

The omega tried to escape but this mf alpha dragged him to bed and SAed him. Our poor baby omega, due to the influx of alpha pheromones, had to endure everything and not only that the bastard alpha marked him without consent. Just like some of the comments here, the alpha's audacity to accuse the omega when it is him who is AT FAULT. I bet you he purposely dropped the rut suppressor so the omega would go to his place, knowing how he was a kindhearted person.
He probably had an idea already who he slept with but given that he didn't need him, he let the omega go but since his parents are pushing him to have an heir, or no inheritance yada yada, he decided to find the omega in South Korea, after f*ckin 4 years!(╯°Д °)╯╧╧
I read some of the comments from Korean readers saying even 100 years of groveling won't be enough for what the alpha did to the omega, and you know what, I 100% agree.
