mhm, that's the exact and only reason why i'm reading this book. i don't think anybody sane would support this irl..... even if the couple looks as beautiful as heeseo and taekyung

big comment ahead:
i understand why people here are telling taekyung to run away from heeseo’s psycho ass (i agree w y’all. heavily.) but then again taekyung is putting up with all this in the first place because heeseo just means that much to him. this guy is a freaking prosecutor. how is such a powerful and capable man letting himself be manipulated and abused in multiple ways? especially when heeseo has caused enough trouble to end up in jail with just a snap of taekyung’s fingers?
it’s not just heeseo who got a twisted view on love. taekyung’s love may not be as simpy and romantic as heeseo’s (yet) but it’s just as much devoted as heeseo’s love is obsessive. devotion is just a prettier version of obsession anyways. taekyung always comes back to heeseo bc he knows only he could be there for heeseo, not to mention he has been keeping an eye on heeseo ever since high school (remember his part time money going to heeseo’s orphanage?). if heeseo does end up tying taekyung up and breaking his limbs so he’s unable to leave him and gotta depend on him for every single thing, taekyung would probably lean into the new lifestyle sooner than he expects.
just remembered how taekyung gave up archery to study law even though he wanted to do archery but “some things are required to be put above what you love” or something like that. what if he chose to do law not only to please his foster mom but to be rich and able to fund heeseo comfortably as long as possible? oh gosh…. taekyung you’re crazy i love you
i just hope whatever condition he ends up in, he’s at least happy and smiling bc he’s my babygirl and that’s all i want for him
