Agreed but from his point of view, jaekyung “saved him” from being on the streets, helped pay for his grandmother’s bills or else she might’ve died, houses Dan, defends him (like when he was drugged or beat up by sharks), gave him a job, etc.
plus Dan sees how hard jaekyung is taking his injury and feels sympathy for him.
Dan is a really passive person and thinks a lot about the people around him. He’s pretty selfless so he considers other peoples struggles more than his own.
Obviously we all know jaekyung is a massive POS but I’ve met people similar to Dan IRL so I wouldn’t say it’s that unrealistic. I agree he should definitely leave him tho given the chance lol

I know this is a bl but please is Dan mentally ill how can he fall in love with him, I don’t know how long it has been from chapter 1 to 42 but it’s unrealistic Dan would fall in love with him for Christ he literally saw the way man treated his last fuck buddy and how he’s treating him.
