I don't think the emperor will touch her since he has a clear preference. She is kept there because she was the previous emperor's consort. Maybe she will be evicted when the time comes. But just like Ah-Duo, she will leave the palace with her dignity intact. I feel like the emperor in this manga is actually so kind hahaha

So imagine yourself as a child getting married to a old ass pedo, then after he dies you go onto the next man however he doesn’t favor you(which is good) however people bully because they think the emperor doesn’t care. So after all of that when she gets old she goes into monastery where there are pretty strict rules. So from childhood till old age she barely experienced any freedom or liveliness
