I feel you
But personally I loved the bittersweet ending. It was so beautiful how Beom followed Lord Ahn to the afterlife, embracing him under the tree, and they both died loving each other to the fullest and being together. Imo, these types of endings are the most impactful and memorable.
But it is always nice being able to see our couples living their happily ever after after making it through their struggles. Side stories where it's just about their cute daily lives after the ending are nice to read and put a smile on my face.
LOL sry ik u didn't ask for my thoughts/opinions but because Taming the Tiger has my favorite ending I felt inclined to say something

Hey no don't be sorry cuz I feel the same and at that time i didn't know they are going meet in the modern world and when the main story ended I cried so much that i couldn't breathe then i continued and I was satisfied by the ending but that was such a rollercoaster of emotions. I just hope seth and Theo get a happy ending with their babies hehe.

I agree, Iloved the hell out of Taming the Tiger, crying my eyes out was SO worth it. I loved the ending of them being together in modern life. I'm usually a bit masochistic, so that one was right up my alley since I love bittersweet endings even if I cry like crazy.
I think that part of the beauty of these stories is all the feelings they make us experience. I, personally, feel everything really intensely, so I cry and laugh as if I was the one living everything. To be honest with you, I still haven't gotten over Taming the Tiger and Tale of the Yellow Dragon, I cried so hard, I loved them. I'm not even gonna lie, I still cry a little bit when I reread the endings lol
Anyway, I got a little bit distracted. What I wanted to say is that you're not alone and you're free to express yourself in any way you see fit
(I'm sorry if I used the wrong phrasing for anything, even after 14 years of learning I still haven't mastered English lol)
Im gonna kill the author if they give us a sad ending like they did to taming with tiger. I cannot take it.
