Agreed honestly. This side story was just painful and it even tainted Siwoo who was such a good friend and person in the main story and they even managed to make him shady too
You are so true for this!! While Dohyeok is utterly trashed, in my opinion I think the original story he’s already suffered enough. I hate Dohyeok with a burning passion but he didn’t deserve to be gang raped, not only that, they passed off the gang rape like it was nothing too

RIGHT???? He should still be traumatized for that, but we are just ending the story without him getting back good. He will be tormented all his life, and we will never know how he will do away. (maybe a bit better since he is away from his perpretaor, but do you really think, author nim , it is so easy to get better after a trauma?)
