And the disease is of a genetic disorder so having the alpha dad providing medical info on his family genetic history would be very helpful. Not to mention, aside from helping to cover that cost, he can help find the best doctors and facilities and help fund research for a cure. What is he gonna do??? What Noah and their child suffer?!?

Whether he does or doesn't is up for interpretation. He could have just taken the child if he really wanted to use him for inheritance. And his seeking out Noah and their child is a good thing. Personally, I doubt he would withhold money, childcare, and research info and treatment for their child EVEN IF NOAH HADN'T AGREED. THAT would have put him in the bottom of the barrel.
Whether he cares for Noah in more of a romantic interest or just the father to their child doesn't matter if the child's health is at stake. At this point in time Noah had been working himself to exhaustion trying to take care of their child, overworking to make money to pay for the child's medical care and to pay for their living expenses, as well being overwhelmed by worries. It's a good thing Ian has come to offer support. Regardless of the adults situation, the baby needs the care of both parents, and Ian has all the means at his disposal for doing so.
Ye but I just know if noah goes back to that guy he's gonna get manipulated in falling for that guy n his fucked up ways n he deserves way more. Although there is an advantage which is his child health but it really sucks that this is the only alternative when all Noah wants is a happy healthy life with his child
