I mean... even tho Taehyuk knew that Hyoun was not a human, still Taehyuk didn't know that Hyoun IS a dragon?? So, I think Taehyuk just didn't know that Hyoun is invincible.
I thought past taehyuk knew the child wasn't human so why is it that he believes he is dead. Did he not see the growth spur he went through in a few days? Did he not see the entire village disappear when he found him? He might not have shown him all of his powers but the small amount he saw shouldn't have him doubting his continuous existence. Smh.
