I'm sorry but I just noticed that aren't people forgiving the mother too fast? like i know she's pretty and smart and that she cares for Lily now but that doesn't change the fact that she still abused tf out of Lily in the past, and bc of how kind Lily is, I think she js forgave her mother bc she's longing too much for a mother's love and doesn't realize just how bad she abused her
