In my opinion, if yuri does win a gold medal, the 'lets end this' will probably comes true. Yuri will retire and Victor will come back as a skater as yuri wish. That would make me disappointed even more bc we can clearly see both of them are not happy with the desicion. I love how it ended. I just hate when I have to wait another years for the new season to come out (●'◡'●)ﾉ It's just my opinion though.

Same here. It felt like it didn't live up to whatever they were trying to build up. And I get that they're trying to make sure Yuri and Victor stay together till the very end, it just doesn't justify why he had to come in 2nd place as if getting gold was gonna affect either of their decision to stay together as a not-sure-what-to-label couple.

I know right. I was hoping for something more romantic tho. The pair-skating scene was great but it was too short and the credits everywhere kinda make me want to slap everyone on their face. AND YEAHH STEPHANE'S VOICE IS SO SWEEETTTT(≧∀≦)

Me too. I wanted firm, verbal confirmation that this is, in fact, a gay romance. None of this "Oh look, rings!" Cute jokes about being fiances. "Can you think of something that will excite me?" stuff. Even the pair skate at the end was more of the same. This season ended with the creators still able to say "Oh no, they're just friends." "Stay with me in figure skating forever" is not the same thing as "I love you. Stay with me. Be my boyfriend/lover/husband." For me, it ended on the same maddeningly coy, noncommittal note that was very frustrating.

Apparently the creator has said that they are in a relationship, but I understand what you mean. It would've been great just for Yuuri to admit/say he is in love with Viktor. I feel like every time that issue was confronted, he ran away from it. Which is understandable considering his personality, but they could have somehow shown that he at least recognized they are a couple. Who knows maybe if we get a second season we'll see some concrete development.
