Forgive me for saying this, but I didn't like the phrase "she deserves it." I think the real problem is that we think that someone, who has suffered for so many years, who has been deprived of her childhood, who has been manipulated and continues to be so, deserves to be treated poorly. because no, no one deserves to be treated like that. I would like us to reflect on who the real villains are, and they are those adults who since she was little have treated her as nothing more than a maid. If Jack really loved her, I think he must now be emotionally mature enough to put himself in her shoes or at least try to realize that if she doesn't show feelings it's only because she's never been allowed to. No you are right. But also I think Jack is not going to fall in love with her. Because his mind is filled with hatred against her. He hates her because according to him, she doesn't uses her brain at all and let's other people trample over her. Which is true though.

Dora is not the type of character who stands up at all. The problem lies deeply to the roots, the way how she was raised. I can also understand the behaviour of Jack towards her. He used to insist her to stand up, but she would never do that, she would rather lick the feet of that woman. That is why Jack being frustrated treats her like sh*t
To be honest, Dora deserves this treatment. If you allow people to trample over you over and over again, you deserve to be hated.
And if you are wondering about musician guy, he is an outsider but he is smart and knows his boundaries. But I am not putting my hopes on him though.
