it was certainly longer (and had more effort) than other bl mangas
from his father's wake to mr. kwon taking care of his brother's education and his grandma's room and bills, to rushing when he heard yeon-oh fainted/ was sick and getting him a doctor, to saving yeon-oh from being kidnapped, him taking out 1 billion won in cash without blinking, taking care of the abusive loan shark and securing the black mail video of yeon-oh, to flying out of the country just to confess to him + half a year of pining and looking out for him to this chapter. i'd say the seme rly made efforts to redeem himself and apologize. there are certain scenes where he's so remorseful too. addressing how wrongly he treated him in the beginning plus *spoiler*

yeon-oh rly held out until the end before he finally accepted mr. kwon's apology and a touching detail! he was even reading up on yeon-oh's favorite theater play. possibly planning on getting him a role for it/ producing a movie
