I think she just likes her because she's one of the prettiest girls in their university and she was very caring towards her while she was feeling down. So she likes her because she thinks she's pretty and she's nice plus I'm sure it doesn't hurt that she kinda looks a bit like the girl she liked in high school. But who knows maybe something else happened for her to like Yeonwoo. There was a chapter where Jiho and her friend/classmate was talking and she asked her if Woohui told her something about Yeonwoo but they got interrupted by Yeonwoo and it seems Jiho wasn't told about it. Maybe it's about her dead ex and nothing else. But I thought maybe it could be something because they kinda just dropped it.
