I feel like the despair I was hoping to get from ML wasn't reached but maybe it's just his resting btch face that's why it wasn't conveyed well lol I think the novel did a better job in conveying it but I guess that's the edge of novels since they could describe it more and leave the imagination to the reader lol
Honestly I expected to feel more angst from this arc(?); it just felt lackluster ( ´～｀) but maybe I just love angst too much lol
