I am guessing they said western because the manga seems to have taken some elements from western culture but again this is fiction so it doesn’t matter whether this shit is normalized in western areas irl or not. We both know damn well this manga starting off with one of them being a literal child was not normal. U don’t see this everywhere. Sure, nothing happened but it was still off putting.
