tbh this is probably the most realistic take on high school (and early college) romances. Breaking up and being dramatic for reasons that seem larger than life when you're drowning in your insecurities, but when looked at by people who aren't about to empathize just seem dumb and cringy. Both are valid takes tbf, but phew so exhausting to even witness.
