This is really confusing to me, first he says he's gay, then he says he's an alpha, but he doesn't want to have sex with other Alpha but omegas. Maybe it's just me but doesn't that mean you're straight. I'm a little lost and confused here

That's exactly why I said it's confusing me. If he wants to have sex with an Omega is not considered gay , so yeah it's confusing. I thought this was Alpha on Alpha or Omega on Omega but it's not it's Alpha on Omega and it considers him gay

It’s still gay? Men and women exist. It is a bit confusing that despite this being an ABO setting it seems male and female roles are still traditional to what we know, rather than acceptance for any primary gender relationship when the secondary genders align but he’s still gay. ABO are secondary genders, almost like preferences in bed like top/bottom or dom/maso roles.

It depends on the author and the world they created. For some worlds, alpha and omega is fine no matter the primary gender; but for others, even if they are alpha and omega, if the primary gender is the same, it's gay and taboo. In the case of the latter, omega men go out with alpha women, and in that case, any of them can get pregnant.
