The problem with the bio father isn’t that he got pregnant by an abuser and ended up choosing to leave. It’s the fact that he guilted the MC into thinking he was doing a bad job when he was actually doing a really good job with the cards he was dealt! I’m sure MC life would’ve been better if he didn’t stay and take care of his lil brother too. He came back when the hard part had passed. I do hope he’s able to have some sort of relationship with the brothers because it looks like he does truly regret leaving. But he doesn’t get to come back and disrupt their lil family
