No, it's not the same thing. Acoustic means something that works through sound (ex. Acoustic guitar), autistic is a form of neurodivergency that affects the human brain. I am not saying it is a disease (I am on the autistic spectrum as well), I was just trying to find the best word to explain it in English (sorry, English is not my first language)

I took it back because I have since learned some ppl with ASD do not like such joke. So I stopped, the joke is not that funny to begin with anyways.
I still think the author took lots of inspiration from ASD anyways for the male lead's "condition" but it seems like they didn't want to go through the trouble of actually saying it's autism and do the proper representation. ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
