I mean he could most definitely use it as a manipulation tactic when he needs to but he also definitely wants to call him dad. He refers to him as dad in his personal thoughts all the time, I think he feels more connected to him by calling him. Family is usually shown as one of the closest bonds you can have to another person. So in my opinion he calls him that for himself as well.
Yeah definitely. Tbh I just see him as a totally fake and manipulative person so even the most innocent acts make me feel like it’s manipulative but if he really is being innocent in his love then I think you’re closer than I am on the theory.
I think we are both right tbh, I believe he genuinely cares for him and would be more than willing to do the right thing when it really matters but at the same time he is a twisted and manipulative person that will do what he can to get what he wants.
I love this story so much but I can't with the "dad" I could put up with daddy maybe cause that's a more sexual word rather than family oriented now a days at least and could be passed as a kink I'm just going to manually replace the word with babe or my love in my head instead lol
