All those saying that the FL is annoying and should divorce the ML is right BUT consider her situation. Her own grandfather threatened her into marrying someone. The MIL is going to give her money but is that money enough to save her family? If the MIL have so much money she could have interfered when they were being arranged.
And also, the FL needs consistent financial support not a one time only support. At least she's putting some distance between her and the ML unlike other FLs that even if they were being publicly degraded they still beg anf cling to the ML
