I thought I was the only one finding this very annoying. I literally skipped the whole chapter cause I couldn’t take it. Hopefully it changes soon and we get more exciting things to read than a dad/son fight mom/wife
right? like idk if its bc im older now but there's nothing cute anymore about a son and husband fighting each other for the mother. first and foremost, they're a family. it would do well for the child to be loved by the father too and if not then they should just divorce bc as it is rn, it seems like mc is a single mother . second, kinda childish for a grown man to be competing with a child. their braincells are literally on different maturity levels. third, i can't help but think of son as growing up to be a mama's boy and becoming a terrible husband to his future wife. fourth, this reeks of self insert . like wanting for two boys to fight over you, but then the author set both boys as literally family. maybe it would have read better if mc was the kind of character who admits she wants that but she's not so now for me, mc is coming off as a pick me with an angelic front.
