Author euja created drama on twitter by quoting a fanmade au critising it saying not to steal her character and all of her korean fans attacked op with mean racist xenophobic tweets. Then author herself joined in the chaos and also said that all intl readers read illegally. Funny part is that the fan who made the au has been the author's active supporter and fan who bought her work and has been basically doing free pr work for their manhwa as they have loads of followers. The author didn't even apologise or reprimand her fan's behaviour saying she is not a kindergardener to baby ppl if we are offended its on us and go away" also this author kinda sus anyway she made a comment earlier bfr posting the rape chapter asking her readers to be ready with their underwears off for the rape chapter release

What on earth??!! "..ready with their underwear off for the rape" ??
Omg, she's disgusting!! Silly me for thinking she is better than most authors for making Taeju's character acknowledge the harm he had inflicted on Euihyun!
As for the drama with the fan, AU goes for Alternative Universe? Or what does it mean? I'm not familiar with these terms.
Also, she deleted the original tweet? I'm not able to find it on her account. I see one in which she denies being a xenophobe! :))
I hope that fan + others are through with her!! If international readers read it illegally, why bother translating the work into English then?? :)) No one would make the effort to translate it for just a couple of legit readers.
The work that I buy (Wet Sand) is even translated into French, German, Thai, Japanese, so it's pretty obvious that the international fan base is a big one.

First of all the author didn't cause drama, that's the other party's and all other international mostly non-English speakers doing. If you are not prejudiced and skeptical, you can read the whole story from @ DianaByaD on twitter.
Literally any Asian author who defends their work on social media gets slandered
as being xenophobic or racist. This is disgusting. If you all think some authors are racist then don't rely on their comics too much, don't even read their work on pirate sites like this one.

the author did cause drama...euja shouldve dmed the person instead of name and shaming on her 500k followers account. the fan doesnt even pirate her work, it was a simple 'au' and yet euja's kr readers proceeded to send the fan death threats.
of course euja is going to be called xenophobic by intl fans bc kr fans has done the same thing but euja has never commented on such until an english acc did it. coincidence much? i think not.
(!!!off topic!!!) and also the fact that intl readers has a stereotype of being illegal readers is very racist although korean readers are the ones that uploaded the work in the first place (e.g. 악역의 엔딩은 죽음뿐's author is very known in this topic, even blocking intl supporters who buy her work)
anyways, i dont think euja is xenophobic (just a misunderstanding in both parties) but can say theres a group of kr authors that are and we shouldnt defend/support that <3
Oop not the author being xenophobic and racist
