Truly. It's the most basic unspoken rule when engaging in consuming pirated manga and webtoons. STAY LOW KEY!
But some readers just really want to earn internet clout by posting pirated content for likes and views and risk endangering the whole community. I've seen so many accounts of them in fb and twitter (of all freaking places! this is the socmed most authors use so it's so easy to get caught!)
Then ppl act surprised when authors and publishing companies come after scanlation teams and illegal manga websites.
Seriously, how stupid can they get! Posting to their social media and tagging the author basically inviting trouble and putting scanlators in trouble and us, readers, without our updates
