I wouldn’t be surprised if it was to increase profits from readers.
We already knew they were endgame. My complaint is that long and excruciating "growth" arc that DRAGGED on and on with Jooin moping about, hating on Yahwi and not truly appreciating Cain.
Not my favorite by a long shot!
