It’s a pet peeve of mine when the chasing arc involves the seme saving the uke because that feels like a cop out and requires the seme to have no real reflection on his wrongdoings. This story had that, but he also did a lot more than most semes so it still felt satisfying, and I liked that the uke was so firm in his rejection.
Buuuuut the seme doesn’t even realize he likes the uke until ch 76, and doesn’t tell him he likes him until the last chapter, so of course we never see their relationship get to the I love you stage. That’s a lot of chapters of pain just to get an I like you and a peck on the cheek.
