maybe jay is actually passing this thought on to the mc?
I'm not entirely sure if they apply to Jay or not cuz I've not read the entire work or novel. But I feel like it is not related to Jay at all. The author just spoke with Jay who altered the lines or.... modified them so that it applies to a Yoohan ... maybe to get across a point? Since he has been trying for a while to make him aware of his true feelings ..... and his desire to live??

its just the way she said "yeah he does remind me of jay" seemed like she meant that jay thinks the same as the character (or his lines) but then maybe its something else about it that reminded her of him
I think I got the general gist of what the modified lines say but could someone please explain in a simpler way and sum up what they say pretty please? :-) like they're supposed to be related to jay and not yoohan according to the writer, but how do they relate to jay?
