Cases like this happen unfortunately. Shoddy investigation is done and the wrong person gets jailed. Years later through some program or retrial they get their justice. Since it was a drunk driving case, I figure the police in this story was like yeah 2 drunk people and decided to just conclude it.
Genuinely surprised. Honestly, I wouldn’t have blamed him if he had shown that he hated her more- since it’s a pretty reasonable thing to hate someone over. But he was surprisingly really nice and understanding. More understanding than other MLs from stories like this where there’s a misunderstanding about a much smaller issue. What confuses me is why the heck they could’ve have investigated better 3 YEARS AGO. Lmao
