This! I don't care how sorry we're supposed to feel for him. He is a possessive POS who won't take no for an answer. Even if he isn't the one who assaulted Maythan, he is still way too toxic.
I do kind of hope he was the one, because that way we only have one crap-tastic love interest instead of possibly having two.
