It’s pretty fair to say that the ML (scar dude) is stuck in some kind of time loop that resets when the MC (uke) dies and only the ML has memories from each loop; hence why he was so mad when that MOB guy compared the situation to a video game, because the ML is in that situation himself, it was probably put in the story as foreshadowing lol
It’s also evident that the ML retains the injuries/scars from every loop also, which means (at least to me) that in one of the loops the poor ML gets turned into a zombie and gets his head fucking chopped off, or at least “hanging by a thread” like the MC thought when he realised the ML had a neck scar.
And also this all begs the question… how many loops has he had to endure…? Poor fuckers going insane
It’s gonna be really weird for him once he’s freed from the loop too which I’m hoping will happen but let’s be for real here, zombie yaois don’t always get happy endings
