It's just like washcloth, a lot of people that uses them think that it is necessary to properly clean yourself...
30min berore/after brushing, you shouldnt eat/drink anyrhing or rinse your mouth. As long ss you do this, before or after breakfast is fine..
If you do it before breakfast, you have the protection against your breakfast
If you do it after breakfast, you will a "fresh" mouth longer and wont have any traces of toothpaste while eating.
