Mingwa said so herself in an interview or Twitter post I forgot where exactly. We wouldn't all be saying Mingwa said it if it was a guess or speculation.
You misunderstood me. On twitter they just said "this is going to be longer" They never said Mingwa said. They never get an indication she said it.
We never found if she said that or not. In this thread is the first time people have claimed Mingwa said to me.

I would recommend you read up on Mingwa's interview english transcripts, I believe that's where we first read it from her. She must've quickly given a head's up on twitter too. I forgot if she had 2 Jinx interviews and 1 BJ alex or 1 of each. You'll easily find it on Google
You can just go and read Mingwa's one year's anniversary interview which comes after chapter 40. You don't have to go anywhere it has been posted here itself just check it. It has been heavily implied that the story of jinx is longer as she has said both jjk and Dan have a very long way to go. And that's what I meant by "mingwa said" cause it's pretty obvious if you read the interview.

Man it's very obvious that jinx gonna be longer than BJ Alex with the way things are proceeding even after one year lol there is no way she is finishing it up everything in the 40 more chaps.
By this time in BJ Alex we were already starting to see the ml regretting his behavior, why is this story taking longer on the character development when it’s arguably more necessary in this story? I get a slow build but that’s kinda pointless if your audience has already given up on the characters
