It’s the way that it was revealed that Doha killed one of the villagers in the early chapters before the MC was killed by the villain, and then it was never addressed again. Unless I completely forgot his explanation for why he did it…

    It's not addressed because Bada assumes the villager was hostile and Doha killed in self-defense. It might be important at some point later, but it might also just be a plot device that marks the start of the story, since it's what makes Bada pay more attention to Doha.
