It's one of those tear you heart out but leave you cathartic. It's a good kind of gutwrenching because u know they have a happy ending which more than what in that era and situation ever could.
Reading this is agonizing. I’m on chapter 37. Does it get better? Why does Ian keep suffering? Will it stop? Ugh. No major spoilers please but this feels like a slog
