He killed it because he was faced with a choice. It's either Jae In with the baby or a chance at succession. If you think about it, he killed the baby not to protect Jae In but to protect himself (︶︿︶)＝凸
The red head didn’t think the MC would ever find anyone else and is now doing anything in his power to reclaim control again. It’s been such a long time since I read the beginning of this story, but I feel like what the red head has is such an unhealthy obsession and control.
I really don’t remember why he killed their own baby tho??? Like I’m super confused as to why he ever did that.
