Wdym manipulated?
1. MC only remembers the OG timeline and is a commoner. And from the start it does seem like the past has changed which would immediately cause a butterfly effect of course.
2. Lord Ahn, his immediate superior in the past life for the "betraying the emperor" plan had to go back into his childhood. Do you really think a noble kid would be able to do something about events that will happen 30+yrs later?
3. Seol-chun/Sunbae Yu, only remembered when Jae-ryun was kidnapped by the Prince. What do you think he could've done?
4. Yeomhwa, it's understandable how he does not believe that the prince can be changed. After all, he lived thru 100+ cycles with the country getting destroyed everytime. And my guess is he only remembered in the cave where the numerous bones was found. Plus, he's from a weak military family remember?
And 5, the mysterious guy seems like a supernatural being that cannot really move much apart from talking with the people who remembers.
I'm sorry bout this long comment. It's a great story and I hope with this you'll be able to understand it better.
I never would have minded being hit by a bl reincarnation stereotypical story. I would eat that story so fckng much but wtf is this? It seems like the author likes incorporating too many elements in this story and it's starting to get boring. Almost everyone remembers their past life but you're telling me not one of them took advantage of the future events of the empire that they could have manipulated behind the scenes? Also, what do you mean the MC won't ever meet his true love AKA past life emperor?! Why?! I was rooting for them. I don't like the new guy even though they're technically the same person. Started so good but it's becoming so hard to grasp now.
