From my pov, he's still suspicious. If there's a progress bar to confirm Adelle is Aryn, it will probably be about 65~70%. He's not 100% sure until there's concrete evidence to prove it's her so he kept testing Adelle. He's also being affectionate because Adelle has a good heart and keeps reminding him of Aryn
I'm pretty sure he knows but he doesn't have concrete proof that ties the two together or to explain her new appearance and the past 80 years, but he knows that MC is connected to her Somehow. He's just looking for the evidence that explains the How / Why.
Im confused if the ML already knows or is just suspicious about it. For someone who'd swat the fake FLs and the princess (which she deserved), he seemed too relaxed (and affectionate??) at FL like he already knows but is not too obsessive about it. （￣へ￣)???
