So at first I was a little bothered when I read they were both around 18. I think I'm getting too old to read romances between kids that young (〜￣△￣)〜 especially since I read in a a spoiler that they do the deed on page (in the novel at least) so I'm glad there's a time skip at least.
If it wasn't so funny and cute from the beginning I might have been tempted to drop it, but it's such a good story (⌒▽⌒) Now I wish I could find more with this trope (where one of the characters pretends to be/is stuck in animal form at first.) I've read a few before but this was the best by far.
