I think the reason why everyone is so pressed about the new art is because they change the art every new season.
I've been following this story from the start so sometimes I get attached to one art style, only to be disappointed because something change in the next season. ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

I just started reading but took a peek at the most recent chapter and I gotta say I'm very glad for the artstyle change.
I'm always put off when the manga has dark themes like abuse etc but it's drawn in such a cutesy way. The current one looks much more mature.
Though I admit, artstyle changes throughout a story is annoying
