I don't read the original LN so I don't know if they both end at the same spot or if the webtoon ends prematurely like the Golden Haired Elementalist. In other words, I don't know if the LN has an ML. But to answer your question, yes. In the case of the webtoon, there is no ML. The ending is abrupt. The last thing that happens is the MC gets a feminine body.

I agree with you but I don't like that they did a lot of romance baiting. I would've enjoyed this story more if it has focused on Haein growing and learning how to use her powers and building a relationship with her dad. Those are things that were all kinda handed to her outta nowhere with no effort or development. This story isnt plot or character driven. It's really just a about Haein travelling around and meeting new people with an abrupt ending usually coming between arcs where Haein gets thrown into a new environment unexpectedly. That's why the ending where all that happens is she gets a female body is unsatisfying to me. Her looking like a boy was treated more like a running gag than an actual main motivation that drove the plot.

Yeah there are surely things that could have been done better but since I don't know the original (if there even is) I believe everything done was necessary to keep a continuous viewership for the webtoon. (The original might be better? It usually is anyways.) Most likely the editors etc. also had a thing or two to say about how the story should be depicted. And korean readers also have certain things they want to see... So I guess this is the best result we could have expected considering all of this.
Yall gonna be hella dissapointed by the ending of this webtoon specially if you stayed on board all this time hoping for romance and trying to figure out who the ML was.
Here's the last chapter (170)
