Yeah but just how useless is the system then? To get corrupted bu a dying enemy? Even more since it was more like a a villains ending rant than a proper curse! And even if it was so, why restrain her like that?
My point stands. Why would author make mc to be a strong flmc just to constrict her like that and make all her strength useless? Even if she recovers her strength she's in a setting where she can't use it properly and even have to control her temper and speech to "raise favorability and fame" with people who are hostile towards her!

But anyway, I think it just showed how powerful the Demon King really was for it to speak a curse (that seemed to use the rest of its remaining life force) to change her fate. The System doesn’t seem all-powerful—more like a guide to help make her stronger and survive (regardless of where she ends up). Inevitably, our MC has to make choices based on that guide. And in which case, the System is still doing its job despite having been corrupted enough to put her into a novel.
But that’s just my take on it. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
Also, I’d like to add this as a parting note here:
I’ve seen so many people complaining that when characters are “too perfect” and “too powerful” where everything goes their way, it’s uninteresting. And then with stories like these where OP characters lose their powers, lots of readers get annoyed because they “can’t do anything useful.” Let’s just be patient and see how this plays out, okay? There aren’t that many chapters yet. I’d like to believe that our MC will regain most of her powers and (hopefully) beat the shit out of those nincompoops. (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
Lmao, yeah. It’s like when they make the story isekai but they never bring up anything about the past life nor is anything about it relevant to the story. They could have just made them a native to the world then…Anyway, it’s still pretty early so hopefully the “s class” in the title holds up later on. Genuinely thought this was gonna be an op type story where the fl blazes her way to finding the saintess.

I do get the happenings and the why's... honestly I even think her 1st incarnation and the reason why the og novel wasn't finished is because the boss got too strong and the author/system couldn't deal with it.
My main problem is that it's not just her. Like 90% of female isekai change for the worse. Like, they can be an adult woman, top of her class in college, black belt, and popular with men and when they transmigrate they are suddenly not able to apply their knowledge, weak and delicate, and super naive romantically. It maddens me so much! They start drooling over the ml looks as if they never seen an idol or celebrity before... like having a nice body and being shirtless is idk some miracle they weren't supposed to be seeing like bish? Have you never accessed the internet? Nor ever went to pools or beach? Weren't you an adult? Why act like a 13yo who never interacted with boys properly?
I get the reincarnated and having to build strength from 0 in a new world. I really do. But that's clearly reserved for male mc's and that's what bothers me so much! That most female mc's only have their wits left and need to use it to bring the males around her to her side (fathers, brothers, step-fathers, uncles, grandfathers, husbands) and depend on them to rise to power. At most they manage to do well in some sort of business after getting capital from them or having them as business partners.
To put it in another way... think of her 1st transmigration. We have a bunch of novels and comics about it. The "regressor" and "transmigrated to a modern dungeon world"... but they are all male main caracters. There's not even 5 comics about it with female mc... and even in those... the romance is HEAVY. But at least they do are strong in some ways... I honestly would absolutely love to read a comic about her first transmigration.
I'm not saying I dislike this one or that I won't read it... it's just... me ranting and hoping she won't be too suppressed by the og being rofan...

On the ml topic... I know it won't happen but... wouldn't it be funny if that last boss turned out to be the ml tho? I'd lol so much if it slowly turned the saintess into a saint and ended up with the "villainess" mc... xD
She was made to be such a badass... just to be that absolutely restricted by the system and quests...
