I find it really sad that a lot of people romanticize violence and torture. Like I know this story is fictional but stuff like his haopens in real life, and to see people wanting sang woo to not get caught and think he Is goals or whatever is sad. Don't get me wrong though, this story is a great psychological thriller with a great plot. I just don't think is ts healthy that a lot of people don't see the trauma that bum goes through.

    What's wrong with this fandom..
    Everybody is arguing..
All of us have different opinion and I believe that each of us deserve respect.
What's wrong with romanticizing or even fantasizing the 2 main protagonist..
We all know that it is a work of fiction. And it is the only time that we get to indulge in this guilty pleasure of ours.
We are SANE people, so we know what's RIGHT or WRONG.
So if someone was in the same position as the protagonist then we will gladly help this people..
    Please don't take this SERIOUSLY!!!
Can we all just enjoy this manga and let people just indulge in their fantasies...

first of all this is yaoi.. yaoi is fantasy..
please dont mix fantasy with reality...
not only this, many yaoi is also unhealthy like rape first and then falling in love.
Im glad in this manhwa Sangwoo didn't rape bum.

I know right. I know works are fiction. BuI "I know the diff between fake and real" has become some sort of excuse especially when there's a difference between "kinky" and down right "batshit insane against the law". Sure you like to ship and all that but somehow i feel that ppl invade with typical yaoi shipping into even the most inappropriate of themes like some endurance battle like how they can endure and feel turned on and be "cool" even though they really won't stand a chance. It's like fans are now wired for one thing instead of being flexible in how they see works. A lot of comments I saw (not just here) is just (hot guy+ blood +violence = so kinky! pls do more) and once it's not a hot guy anymore they turn into hypocrites and bash those who like those works on deeper levels. It's like they never grew up from that stage.

I'm not mixing it in. I was just stating that this happens in real life. I think a lot of the readers are young and don't see the potential issues with viewing this couple as being "cute" this is just as extreme as rape. In regualr yaoi it's the guy getc raped and falls in love. This story entirely different, including violence, torture and kidnapping. Bum is literally in fear of his life and people think that everything is so cute the way sang woo "cares" for bum. I think it's just readers completely looking over bum's mental state. People are viewing this as any other yaoi too, but it's ts more complex

Just thowing out my two cents, because it seems to be the unpopular opinion of this topic. I think what makes a story good, even in fantasy, is the level of believability of the story. Koogi puts effort in not simply labeling them as ambiguously mentally ill but specifically labels Sangwoo as a psychopath and Bum as an individual with borderline personality disorder. Both of them have continuously exhibited the symptoms of their respective mental illness so I expect them to act accordingly. As a psychopath, I do not beleive Sangwoo is capable of having a loving relationship such as one seen in a romantic story. What he loves is manipulating, dominating, toying with and torturing people. I know anything can happen in the world of yaoi but there's still there's still a lot of questions to be answered before I can assume love is involved here. I think there's a couple of ways his reaction could be explained in chapter 13. I'm not denying that Sangwoo has grown attached to Bum but I'm not yet convinced it's love. He could have been offput by the thought Bum, his victim, seemingly manipulated him and ran away. While Sangwoo toys with his victims all the time he's not okay with someone doing that to him. I'm assuming none of his victims have ever gotten away so for Bum to get away without a trace would be shocking. Because this is fiction and the story is no way obligated to follow rules of the real world, there is always the possibility that Sangwoo genuinely loves Bum and fears a world without him. I'd be a bit disappointed in the story if it took that route though. At this point in the story I also question if Bum still loves Sangwoo. Sangwoo has put him through a lot of trauma and there's the possibility the image of Sangwoo as a knight in shining armour is gone. There's also the possibility that he still idolizes Sangwoo and despite the abuse he can't help but love him. Even if there is "love" involved here it's still abusive and therefore I will never consider it cute or romantic.

I respect your opinion, I actually respect anyone's opinion, and I'm probably just throwing out lame excuses as to why i ship it: You've probably heard many times that people actually think Yoonbum has the 'Stockholm Syndrome'. I don't think so. Even if something like that was evolved, I think rather than that, Sangwoo's getting the 'London Syndrome' (which could eventually explain his behaviour at the end of chapter 13). It seems more logical to me, since Bum has liked Sangwoo even before he got kidnapped.

Yeah, I disagree 100% with the Stockholm Syndrome theory as Bun felt that way before being captured. Haven't heard of London Syndrome. Is that like Lima Syndrome? I disagreed with that theory because it would require Sangwoo to have a sense of empathy.
