It’s understandable why he would assume things as such when the other party never straight out said what their relationship are. It’s not completely his fault for misunderstanding. They both need to work on their conversational skills. Plus from where the mc stands the ml could just be curious/experimenting not fully committing ╮(￣▽￣)╭.
