i feel slightly confused as well but I dont think that was his friend, it's the same guy from the bully group in ch.2, I think he was just a perv constantly touching the MC and she saw that assuming they do stuff together, he must've been getting his butt kicked and just agreed to molest the MC anyways.. but idk who hung themselves, either the MC or the bully but the bully doesn't seem like the type to have cared... very confusing, maybe it will be explained later on.
