Exactly what I thought, the blow he got from his lil sis murder fucked him up so much that his mind started get twisted and seeing how the lil girls that got abused reminded him of his sister and he started thinking the only way to save them is to kill them. What he went through is very despairing but of course it wont justify him kiling the innocent girls.
Ngl I was sad cause he looks nice and cute at first, was rooting for a cute side male charac but oh well.
I mean dude worked his way up until adulthood to get his sister back but in the end only received news of her death. Im surprised he even managed to get away with all of his crazy killings. When I tell you just the thought of his bg got me bawling my eyes like they deserved so much better (again this does not justify his killing)

Rube’s a psychopath, maybe, in his head, he thinks he’s helping the girls by killing them out of their misery. Since he couldn’t protect Amy, he thinks he’s avenging her by “protecting” the girls similar to her situation. This is just my speculation tho lol also, not the father and brother also wanting a brooch from FL lmaooo
