I read the original version, don't think I will read the new one. I really disliked how the bottom kept being a coward at every corner, like, can't he show he cares for once? It was dissatisfying thinking he never fought for the relationship. Very unidirectional love. The bottom felt very immature, ironically.

People says that his "reason/motive/fear" was valid and yeah maybe at some extent BUT it doesn't justify why he didn't cut it off with Eunho entirely. The bottom didn't put a solid wall between them when Eunho was attending his classes and even after the whole fiasco when Eunho enlisted the bottom admitted he deliberately kept the ring and studio's name cause he wanted Eunho to come back to him...LIKE HOW CRUEL CAN YOU BE??? He was indeed such a coward and he knew damn well he had two men in love and waiting for him (Eunho and the fuck buddy) but he took everything they gave him and broke their hearts just like that.
If it wasn't for the love and appreciation I developed for Eunho's character I would have dropped the manhwa in a heart beat because it honestly broke my heart every time Eunho got hurt :(
This is one of my all time favorites stories out there and I hold it so dear to me and re-read it from time to time because Eunho (the top) made me love him so much. By that time it was ground breaking seeing the top be the one struggling.
HOWEVER, it doesn't mean imma be an ass kisser and say the story is one of the best. People saying this doesn't deserve higher than 9.0 stars are right cause if it was the bottom the one who went through all Eunho did yall would be fuming and even saying they shouldn't have end up together, besides the story itself and the rest of the characters have visible flaws that leaves you with a "girl what?" moment. The author is even changing the thought process of each character and how they present to the reader in the remastered version which honestly sucks ass causes that ain't the original characters we knew anymore LMAO let's for be for real.
