I get what you're saying, bc you're probably tired of seeing women used as BL plot devices, but I don't think gender should be made the issue here bc it makes sense in the story's context...he and she are both modern-setting chaebol nouveux richies trying to form a business marriage. It's not like he would've been forced to marry some upper class male, since it's not a fantasyverse. They could've made her non-dramatic but it's not that kind of story from the onset. The whole thing is a telenuvo soap opera.
But other than that, I agree the ML needs to own up to his actions.
It’s 2024 and authors are still using the crazy evil women trying to ruin the gays troupe. How about making our main characters take some accountability for their own actions?
The ML agreed to this engagement himself, didn’t call it off after seeing how much it upset his boyfriend, BROKE UP WITH THE MC HIMSELF, and treated his fiancé and secretary like shit as if it wasn’t his own actions that got him in this situation. All of that just for the MC to give him chance after chance and forgive him before he even called off the marriage!
Y’all are saying it’s the woman who has no self love, but the MC is the one with no self respect.
