I think the guide triggered his abilities. It wasn't the thought of being taken away from his parents It was just the guide he didn't want to part from. All others are affected except the guide cuz he's immune.

Crazy! Well, I suppose if anything was going to trigger him..it was going to be the thought of being taken away from his 'parents' and his 'hyung' ...but to forget about his parents himself...hmm...
