I have been thinking this from the beginning, the complex and in depth story pulls you in so deep. Unlike other action, adventure, fantasy manhwas this one has the world building, the plot points, the plot twists, the character development, the complex storyline and characters, everything an amazing story needs. I am actually so incredibly impressed by it and I honestly have not read anything like it. The personal crisis that Zurich goes through and his interaction with the people he meets throughout his journey to find himself ever since his life was upturned. It’s actually crazy how deep this story goes especially compared to other stories, not to diss other manhwas bc there are a lot of amazing ones out there, but this one is just so unique. I could honestly talk about it for hours.
I love everything about this manhwa. The story, the art, the intricacies of hierarchies and different systematic systems. Its just so well done, so dynamic. When i first started reading this I expected this to just be about Urich leaving his homeland, explore and maybe kill people along the way. But omg was i not expecting the fucking journey he's been on. The existential crisis that he goes through every now and then. The raw emotions of figuring out his place in life along with figuring out the people he had met. Its all just so beautiful. Im especially in love with the last few chapters because of his abandonment of the sun god Ru. He's really trying to find something to ground him something to LOOK forwards to. And with the actions of Sven and everything he's going through it really puts into perspective Urichs own mindset. Lemme stop before i keep going lmao. I just love this.
